Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and QBN Pty Ltd (“QBN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the QBN web application, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Eligibility and account registration

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Services. By registering, you represent that you are eligible to use the Services and have not been suspended or removed previously. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Invite‑only membership and approval

QBN is an invite‑only community. You may sign up with a valid invite code or request access. Applicants who request access may be placed into a review status until approved by QBN. QBN may approve or deny access at its sole discretion.

Community standards and acceptable use

You agree to use QBN in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner. You will not:

• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Harass, discriminate, or abuse other members
• Post illegal, harmful, or misleading content
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or access the Services
• Circumvent access controls or attempt unauthorized access
• Use the Services in ways that disrupt, overload, or damage the platform

QBN may remove content or restrict access for violations of these standards.

Member content and license to QBN

You retain ownership of the content you post (including posts, comments, profile information, and media). You grant QBN a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate, improve, and provide the Services. You represent that you have the rights to share any content you submit. QBN is not obligated to store or retain any content.

Moderation and enforcement

QBN may, but is not required to, monitor content or activity. We may remove or restrict content, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms or community standards. We are not liable for content posted by members or third parties.

Events and member interactions

QBN may offer events and networking features. Participation is at your own risk. QBN is not responsible for the conduct of members or the outcomes of member interactions. If organizers or hosts provide event details, QBN does not guarantee the accuracy of that information.

AI‑powered matchups

If you opt into matchups, QBN may use profile and onboarding information to generate recommendations using third‑party AI providers. Matchups are provided for networking purposes only and are not professional advice. QBN does not guarantee results, outcomes, or compatibility.

Third‑party services

The Services may link to or integrate with third‑party providers. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. QBN is not responsible for third‑party services, content, or practices.

Paid services (if applicable)

If QBN offers paid plans or subscriptions, fees will be disclosed at the time of purchase. Subscription fees may renew automatically unless canceled. Refunds are subject to QBN’s then‑current refund policy.

Availability and changes

QBN may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Services at any time. We do not guarantee that any content or data will be stored indefinitely. We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify users of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” QBN disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. Use of the Services is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QBN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. If liability is found, QBN’s total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to QBN in the 12 months before the claim (or AUD $100 if no fees were paid).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold QBN harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Territory], Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.
